Cuteness personified with 3d printed Baby Groot but where is it now ?

A few days ago the Marvels the makers of the Guardians of the Galaxy release the latest trailer of the next part of the movie, and ever since then the internet is gripped by the sight of Baby Groot. So much so that it has already become an internet sensation and people have already made 3d prints of it.

The original design was shared by a user who was active in the development of the original design and shared the design freely with every one under fair use policy which stated..

The 3d printing community went berserk and the facebook community members started posting images of the 3D printed Baby Groot. But all like good things this had to end and the user removed the free download link and posted this message.

According to the earlier user agreement the user could share the design if it’s still available with them so I guess if you find anyone who has the design and if you happen to print it for your own use you should be fine ( I am not a copyright protection expert but this is my personal view on the situation.)

But if you happened to miss the boat and cannot find anyone who has the original design we have found some alternative that are equally good.

This Cutie Pie Baby Groot is designed by Tom Davis and is exclusively available for free download at www.myminifactory.com. The 3D Prints has amazing detail in the facial expression and also doubles up as a flower pot or anything else you would like to add to the hollow head of the Groot. Head over to this link of 3D Printed Baby Groot if you wish to download the design and print it yourself. The designer also has other amazing designs that you could download so do not forget to check out his profile page.

There are some other honourable mentions which I would like to share..

This Baby Groot is the protector of the plants and can be downloaded from here.

If you want your Baby Groot to be just a happy dancing Groot it can be downloaded from Thingiverse. Link for the download.

If you happen to make any of these designs, do share your views and suggestions about the complexity of the prints. Your secret tips to make the print look better would be highly appreciated.
