This printer is amazing! Considering the price and that it is a DIY kit, the quality of this printer could not have surprised me anymore. Using just the default printer settings in the Cura slicer, the prints that came out were near perfect! The build time took me and one other person about 5 hours and we had a blast doing it! If you are looking to get into 3D printing, but do not want to break the bank, look no further!

I bought this printer based on reviews of Prusa i3 variants and this article (http://hackaday.com/2016/07/06/build-a-3d-printer-workhorse/). It was easy to build (took about a day) and worked pretty well out of the box. The printer seems to be holding up well and is easy to modify. This is a pretty easy project for a DIY electronics hobbyist. The $200 price tag is an incredible value when you consider that this printer can produce the same quality prints that other variants can for far less. It will require work to get everything calibrated, but as far as I can tell, that will be true of any machine less than $1000.
